The Granco is not like those it has lots of pressure, I had to almost run to keep up it ,and not have the paint build up.Spraying is not as nice as with the X7 unit that we have, however the X7 wastes a lot of paint just to prime it, fill the hoses and then clean up. John Shearer: Just for everybody’s information, about half of our staff has used this product on exteriors it’s waterborne, it’s really thick. ![]() This unit, you’re only at 2000 psi, so you’re gonna wanna slow your wrist down, and go ahead and get about 8 – 10 inches into the substrate. And your wrist is gonna be whipping up and down or horizontal. But you have to get a little bit closer, k? So, with this unit, on a regular unit, you’re gonna be about 12 inches away from a substrate and spraying pretty consistently. Get greater control with 2 speed settings low for more detailed work and high for larger jobs to finish faster. Ideal for projects up to 2 gallons in size, like doors, trim, interior walls, outdoor furniture, garage doors or fences. Ok? So, what happens is when you’re slowing your process down, you also have to slow your wrist action down. When we have our regular airless sprayers, typically, guys have them jacked up to 3300 psi all the way – they’re just blowing and kicking and going. This thing, at maxed-out pressure, is gonna be 2,000 psi. The TrueCoat paint sprayer incorporates a side-mounted pressure dial.
